I know that some people will prefer to use their normal email account for the finite login. In that case, they can configure the software to use their regular email account instead of the one that is associated with the NetID on their router. If you do that, then you'll have to provide that email account information whenever you log in to the router. If you're not comfortable with that, you can always configure the software to automatically log you in with the correct NetID and use your normal email account when necessary.
